Last updated: March 27, 2026. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Arezguard Chrome extension and related services provided by Arezdev ("we", "us", "our").

1. Service Description

Arezguard is a Chrome browser extension that filters promotional content, advertisements, and spam from the Reddit website (reddit.com). The Extension operates by analyzing page content in real-time using heuristic pattern matching and on-device artificial intelligence.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Extension, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must uninstall the Extension and cease all use.

3. Free and Premium Tiers

Arezguard offers two service tiers:

• Free Tier: Includes native Reddit ad blocking, community and user blocking, and manual post scanning. Available without account registration.
• Premium Tier: Includes all Free features plus automatic AI spam detection, stealth mode, keyword filtering, community whitelisting, and priority support. Requires account registration and an active paid subscription.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Premium subscriptions are available on a monthly ($9/month) or yearly ($90/year) basis.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from the extension's Account tab.
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods. Upon cancellation, Premium features remain active until the end of the current paid period.

5. User Responsibilities

• You must use the Extension in compliance with all applicable laws and Reddit's Terms of Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the Extension's source code.
• You may not use the Extension for any purpose other than personal content filtering on Reddit.
• You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Extension or any part of it.

6. Intellectual Property

The Extension, including its source code, AI models, design, and branding, is the intellectual property of Arezdev. All rights are reserved. The Extension is licensed, not sold, to you for personal use only.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will detect all promotional content. AI classification accuracy may vary.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Arezdev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Extension, including but not limited to: missed content, false positives/negatives in content detection, service interruptions, or data loss.

9. Modification of Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Extension at any time, with or without notice. We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Premium features if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if payment processing fails. You may terminate your use at any time by uninstalling the Extension.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Brazil.
